Hello everyone! My name is Annie and I am the voice behind MIDI-apolis. I created this blog because I wanted a place to share my eclectic tastes in music.

I currently reside in Minnesota and I am 25 years old. I graduated a couple years ago from a private university with a mass communications and management degree. I’ve always had a passion for music (I grew up playing piano and took part in school choirs for many years) but it was an internship I had where I discovered that I wanted to turn music into a career. I’ve been trying to break into the music scene ever since.

I interned at Universal Music Group for a couple semesters in college. I met and have kept in touch with many label reps and directors during my time at UMG. From that experience, I have gained a huge introduction into what life in the business side of the music industry looks like and I’m addicted.

My dream job is NOT to be a singer or the next big performer, but I want to be the person that discovers them. I want to break new music and help artists record songs that mean something. I’m definitely looking to get into this industry and hopefully those goals will come true.
